With over 15 years of touring experience, it is Bayline's goal to provide the most informative and entertaining tour of Lake Tahoe and Virginia City.

"Once everyone is on-board, the tour starts by heading West on Highway 80 as we drive through Truckee, California.

After a quick stop outside of Truckee to stretch your feet, we then head South on Highway 267 until we reach Squaw Resort (home of the 1960 Winter Olympics). After a few minutes to take some pictures, the tour continues until we reach beautiful North Lake Tahoe. This is when you will catch your first glimpse of the Lake Tahoe and all of her beauty. We will stop for several photo opportunities including a stop in North Lake Tahoe at the CalNeva Resort (once owned by Frank Sinatra). Be sure to take the famous picture standing on the marked state line running through the Casino.

Our Lake Tahoe Tour continues around the North/East shoreline of Lake Tahoe (stoping several times for great photo opportunities) until we reach South Lake Tahoe. From there we head to Genoa (Nevada's Oldest Town). Here you will have roughly 30 minutes to explore and walk around.

Thereafter, we have a driving tour of Carson City (Nevada's State Capital) and continue our journey until we reach the historic town of Virginia City (once considered "The Richest Place on Earth").
Around $400 million in gold and silver was discovered here in the 1800's. As a guest you will be able to enjoy one complementary entre from the Palace Saloon (sorry drinks not included). With 3 hours you will have plenty of time to take the Ponderosa Saloon Mine Tour, ride the trains, or just relax with a drink in the "Bucket of Blood Saloon" which was featured on the television series Bonanza. The tour ends with an amazing view of Reno as you come down the mountain from Virginia City. The tour usually gets back to the Reno hotels by 5:00pm.
We would be honored to show you the wonderful surroundings of the Reno/Tahoe area." - Bayline Tours
